Dee Soule’s motto “Do what you love and call it work” sets the foundation for her role as a Coding Consultant at Allegiant Experts.  As the project manager for the Integrity Audit Division, Dee works with the entire team of coders on a daily basis to assist with questions they may have or to help guide them toward additional resources.   Dee finds reward in mentoring coders and auditors.  “I love having the opportunity to teach team members but learn from them as well.”

Holding a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Dee is a certified professional coder, certified outpatient coder, and certified professional medical auditor through AAPC. She also holds a certified healthcare chart auditor from the Association of Healthcare Chart Auditors and Educators (AHCAE).

Dee relies on her 20+ years’ experience, extensive understanding, and hands-on training to apply a practical, real-world philosophy to healthcare billing, coding, auditing and compliance. Beginning her career in admitting for an ER, Dee has intimate knowledge of how medical practices can effectively apply billing/collections to coding for more successful management. She specializes in coding compliance reviews, documentation improvement, HIPAA training, and full office compliance reviews. Dee is a Testifying Expert and concentrates on audit and litigation support services for personal injury protection and fraud cases.

Dee estimates that she has reviewed in excess of a million records over the course of her career. Her enthusiasm remains in helping physicians to “get it right” – to support healthcare professionals to be efficient and elite providers who also are compliant with industry standards for producing quality medical records.
